The short version

We collect what the app needs to build your application and nothing more. We never sell your information, we never share your documents, and we never send marketing you did not ask for. Your email exists so the app can build your list and your plan. That is the promise Dr Dev makes on the landing page, and this page is that promise in writing.

What we collect

  • Your account. Your email and name, from Google, Apple or the email you sign up with.
  • Your answers. What you tell us during onboarding and in the writing questionnaires: your background, your dates, your goals, your stories.
  • Your documents. The drafts the app builds from your answers, and anything you submit for review.
  • Usage. Which pages you open and what you click, so we can fix what confuses people. Analytics never records what you type, and your drafts are excluded from analytics entirely.

Who processes it

  • Hosting and database keep your account and documents stored and secured.
  • Stripe handles payments. Your card details go to Stripe, never to our servers.
  • An AI writing service processes your questionnaire answers to produce your drafts, under Dr Dev's writing rules. Your answers are sent for that purpose only.
  • PostHog provides product analytics, with inputs masked and Do Not Track honoured.

Each of these processes your information to provide the feature, nothing else.

What never happens

  • Your information is never sold or rented, to anyone.
  • Your documents are never shown to other applicants, never used as examples and never used to train anything.
  • No marketing emails without your consent. Account and purchase emails only.
  • Other applicants cannot see your drafts, your answers or your school list. Only you and, when you submit work for review, Dr Dev and authorised mentors.

Your choices

  • Export. Your answers and documents are yours. You can copy them out at any time once unlocked.
  • Delete. Ask and your account and its data are deleted. Message Dr Dev on WhatsApp at +1 813 296 9332 or use the in-app help.
  • Community. Posting in the community is optional, and posts there are visible to other members.
